Things have perked up even further since the release of the teaser
poster of SBS’ Again My Life (AgainMa), the most highly anticipated drama of 2022. It features the
overlapping faces of Kim Hee Woo, portrayed by the gorgeous megastar, Lee
Joon Gi. The circulation of the various stills of the cast and the relentless flow of data about
the drama keep the heart pounding endlessly. With the recent unveiling of the main
poster, the public and the Internet population are burning with even more curiosity
about Kim Hee Woo and Kim Hee Ah, played by Kim Ji Eun. Fans have commented that Lee Joon Gi’s modelling runway can be any place. None can compare with the youthful-looking and strikingly handsome megastar whose poses are always so seductive, stylish and enthralling. Lee, as usual, steams up the SBS Again My Life posters with his iconic unique eyes and handsome looks, which are, at times, quite difficult to describe. In the main poster, Lee’s body is arched in a way to showcase Kim Hee Woo’s physical flexibility. The prosecutor, though detached and aloof, is given a sheen of sex appeal and sophistication. His piercing eyes, clouded by deep sadness and personal turmoil, are spiked with determination. It is apparent that his serious professional goals as well as his own personal goal of punishing Jo Tae Sup and his evil lackeys weigh him down. Kim Hee Woo’s story
unfolds against the backdrop of the old world. The pale orange colour of
buildings speaks of the past. With his extraordinary resurrection and return from the dead, Kim Hee Woo is charged with the mission to change the course of history. He is compelled to dismiss his personal feelings. The blue shadow and aura that hover around Kim Hee
Woo give him a surreal glow. Blue speaks of the future. With his hands in his pockets, he is seen
to be fully focussed on the goal ahead of him. The single-minded man would
not allow himself to be distracted or swayed by the lovely lady beside him.
He is fully cognizant of his dangerous future clashes with the evil criminals
and he refuses to allow anyone, much less his beloved, to be hurt in the
process. Standing very straight against a pale blue futuristic background, Kim
Hee Ah, played by Kim Ji Eun, looks at Kim Hee Woo with love and
passion. Blue contrasts with orange. She is lost in awe and admiration of the handsome, intelligent and
talented prosecutor. Kim Hee Woo might be attracted to her but is he in denial? There’s a hint of regret in Kim Hee Ah’s gaze, regret
that his stance on romantic love would not weaken. How can she let him go? To her, he’s a genius, an all-knowing
personality; he has the knowledge and experience
that is not privy to anyone else. He matches her in intelligence, talent,
ambition, character and looks. She, too, is a genius. Kim Hee Woo and Kim
Hee Ah – they are A Match Made in Heaven. Would she wait for his
heart to soften? Meanwhile, the heiress of the Chun Ha Conglomerate is his strongest friend, supporter and ally. The idea of the sexy and gorgeous but unattainable Kim Hee
Woo is implanted firmly in every viewer’s mind. The drama seems chaste.
There is surprisingly a certain innocence about the relationship between Kim
Hee Woo and Kim Hee Ah. Kim Hee Woo isn’t making any moves on her.
Judging by the poster, there seems to be no possibility of sizzling scenes between Kim Hee Woo and Kim Hee Ah nor Kim Hee Woo with the other pretty ladies in Again My Life. The audience refuse to believe that. There is more than meets the eye. It is this scene that illustrates the supreme importance of
poster design. The design, which draws attention to the fact Kim Hee Woo
and Kim Hee Ah are not only different in their emotional states but
also characters in different eras, has lifted the poster right up on to
another level. It hardly needs saying that there is beauty, sharpness and
meaning in the images. The almost monochromatic blue scene points to the
seriousness and importance of the story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csgH4OOZR-o SBS’ upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, Again My Life, premieres on 8 April (Friday).
