People have
been talking excitedly about Lee Joon Gi, the brightest-burning global
superstar who took centre stage at the VIP premiere of the movie, Ransomed, on
27 July at Megabox COEX in Gangnam-gu. He was a feast for the eyes – a visually
stunning sight. The Flower of Evil and Again My Life actor, who looked gorgeous from head to toe, invigorated
the premiere with his appearance. Lee made a showstopping entrance in his
wonderfully coordinated and stylish clothes. His striking pale-yellow jacket
and pants were teamed with a matching black shirt and shoes. The premiere was well-attended
by many popular stars.
 The global
Kdrama audience have been waiting impatiently for the superstar’s upcoming
television series, The Sword of Aramoon, in which Lee plays the leading as well as the titular role. The
series, which is slated to premiere in September 2023, will be streamed by
Disney Plus.    The many
excited young people, who had gathered there to see their favourite
celebrities, were delighted that Lee had taken the time to interact with them -
smiling into their eyes, touching their hands and taking wefies with them. The
globally famous and popular multihyphenate is known to favour giving ‘the best
fan service’ in the showbusiness industry.    
Directed
by Kim Seong Hoon, Ransomed focusses on a young diplomat who is delegated the
responsibility of delivering ransom money to rescue a kidnapped diplomat in
Lebanon. A Korean taxi driver, who is unwittingly caught in the tricky
situation, and the young diplomat are brought together by the perils of the civil
war in the country.  Ju Ji Hoon
plays the taxi driver. Lee Joon Gi probably attended the premiere in support of
his friend from his military days.     Lee Joon Gi and Ju Ji Hoon
performed in the Voyage of Life on 8 October 2010. Lee had a soloist singing
role in the musical concert. Both were presented with a citation from the Army
