The new Again My Life (AgainMa) stills which
were disseminated by SBS on 14 March 2022 shift the focus from the drama villains
to Kim Hee Ah, played by Kim Ji Eun. Kim Hee Ah comes from a
world of wealth and privilege as opposed to the financially strapped Kim
Hee Woo, played by Lee Joon Gi. It is almost as if the gods had smiled down and chosen the beautiful and talented Kim Ji Eun for the leading role of Kim Hee Ah opposite the handsome, multitalented megastar, Lee Joon Gi, in SBS' Again My Life. Many envy her because of Lee’s irresistible qualities, including his magical smile and personal charisma, and his world stature. The 28-year-old Kim Ji Eun’s professional ascent has been swift. Starting her career as a model in 2016, she won the 2021 New Star Award for modelling. She also won the Best New Actress award for The Veil in 2021. In Again My Life, Kim Hee Ah has everything she
ever wanted except the love of the man who has stolen her heart, Kim Hee
Woo. The wealthy young lady even has the love, trust and respect of her
father, Kim Gun Yung, the Chairman of Chun Ha Group, a business
conglomerate or chaebol which controls several groups of companies and
subsidiaries, including cars, construction and real estate. The tycoon has left
15% stake in the business to his youngest daughter. Kim Hee Woo’s intelligence, personality and gorgeous looks have created a big impression on the young lady. Smart is sexy. But Kim Hee Woo is not only handsome, smart, witty and intelligent but also caring, kind and has a great sense of humour. But, there’s nothing sexier than a man showing emotion and that’s what Lee Joon Gi’s Kim Hee Woo will showcase in Again My Life. Born with beauty, brains, talent and a kind heart, Kim Hee Ah knows that she has met her match. She knows what she wants and Kim Hee Woo is The One. She does not hesitate in embarrassing herself by letting him know that she is interested in him. Though Kim Hee Woo is drawn to her, he makes it clear that he isn’t available. Though heartbroken, she allows no one to take his place in her heart. Kim Hee Ah is a tough cookie with a brilliant mind. The young lady’s fragile appearance belies her strength. Many are dead wrong about her. Those who try to take advantage of her soon realise that she is like steel. She is a good deal more strong-willed, assertive and ambitious than she appears to be. She has a strong vision of her place in her father’s vast businesses. But, viewers might be surprised that she is a genius. Besides her, there are two other geniuses in the drama - Kim Hee Woo, the future changer, and Lee Min Soo, played by Jung Sang Hoon.
All three have high IQ; it means that they are smart. The multitalented Kim Hee Woo gets top marks in Maths in High School and is the top student in Law School. Kim Hee Ah has a brilliant mind and understands the world economic changes. Groomed to be the future heiress of her father’s conglomerate, she takes over the role of Chairman of the Research and Development (R&D) arm of Chun Ha. Not many women are recognised and celebrated as geniuses. Lee Min Soo has many talents and finds it impossible to choose a course that fits him until he enters law school. Talent and high IQ do not make geniuses, so what makes them geniuses? Some believe that genius requires some combination of innate intelligence, passion and a dedication to hard work. But, perhaps, the true measure of a genius is imagination and creativity, not knowledge. Geniuses solve what has yet to be solved. Geniuses create something from nothing, something that is new. They are the innovators and visionaries who shake the world. Predestined for greatness, Kim Hee Woo and Kim Hee Ah would be credited for changing the future. Kim Hee Woo, surrounding himself with great allies, would be the hero who upends the control of the evil forces in the country. One wonders: Are geniuses born or made? Again My Life would probably shed light on the matter. SBS’ upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, Again My Life, premieres at 10 p.m. on 8 April (Friday). The 16-episode drama,
with criminal law, political, action, mystery, time travel and fantasy
elements, is directed by Director Han Chul Soo, who is assisted by Kim Yong
Min. It scripted by Jay and Kim Yul, and adapted from Lee Hae-nal’s web novel
of the same name to the screen by Lee Byung Hun, the director of Extreme
