The field of skincare has always been the preserve of women, and
skincare products spokespersons have been mostly female. Lee Joon Gi is one
of the few male beauty brand ambassadors for women. Lee’s young-looking
complexion enhances his creditability and trustworthiness as PENEGREEN’s
spokesperson. Lee, whose skin exudes a healthy glow, is a great walking
advertisement for the beauty brand.
The gorgeous head turner revealed his daily skincare secrets during the special PENEGREEN event on 20 December 2019 at the newly-opened
PENEGREEN Department Store located in the BUNDANG LOTTE Department Store building. Lee Joon Gi is the perfect model
to change the way women in general regard skincare routines. But, forget
gender. Many skincare products are unisex. Men, particularly the new
generation, should now sit up and take notice.
  
The dashing superstar who has recently been ranked in the top
quarter of T C Candler Asia’s ‘The 100 Most Handsome Men In Asia 2019’ was swarmed
by fans.
The emcee of the event complimented Lee on the youthful glow of his
skin and requested him to share his beauty triumphs and his skin care
routine. The handsome multihyphenate recommends a balance of three things:
sleep, drinking water and the right skincare products.

Lee was not embarrassed to admit that he indulges in beauty
sleep. He sleeps a lot if he does not have projects or activities. He
explains that sleep is vital for the repair and recovery of the skin.
The megastar also advises everyone to drink a lot of water to
keep their skin hydrated.
 
Sharing his own experience with PENEGREEN skincare products, Lee strongly recommends using Mist Essence, his favourite PENEGREEN product, which to him, is a must-have. Spraying Mist Essence on his face is an essential part of his daily beauty routine. He loves his daily exercise and he sweats a lot. Fans know that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu takes precedence over all other types of exercise for Lee at the moment. To prevent his skin from drying out, he sprays his face generously with Mist Essence. The daily dose of Mist Essence boosts hydration and gives his skin a youthful glow. The amazing fact is the mist does not affect makeup, which is a bonus for the modern generation. Lee Joon Gi was also asked about the serum that he uses - the ‘bul-hwal-cho’ or Rose of Jericho
ampoule. He explains that the potent serum not only revitalises and restores
the radiance of the skin but also reduces the signs of aging and wrinkles.
