Kim Hee Woo, played by the preternaturally handsome Lee Joon Gi, goes back 25 years in time, from a 42-year-old prosecutor to a 17-year-old high school student in SBS’ Again My Life. At about 20 years of age, as a first-year undergraduate, Kim Hee Woo makes a decision to learn about real estate. His fateful meeting with Woo Yung Soo, a real estate tycoon, played by Lee Soon Jae, is a turning point in Kim Hee Woo’s life. The drama premieres at 10 p.m. KST on 8 April 2022.

In one of the stills, Kim Hee Woo smilingly introduces himself to Woo Yung Soo, a real estate tycoon, and in another, he seems to be completely dumbfounded by the deliberate snub of the tycoon.

Impressed by Kim Hee Woo’s dogged determination and consummate interest in real estate auctions, the wealthy old man finally agrees to mentor the young man who quickly acquires an intuitive grasp of the details in complex but lucrative field. Bonding as sifu-tudi or master-apprentice, the expert and the greenhorn discuss many crucial aspects of real estate auctions that appear to be gibberish and beyond the understanding and interest of the layman.

The starstruck admirer picks the brain of the elderly man who has a wealth of knowledge, experience and wisdom to share. The special connection gives the undergraduate a head start in the specialized field. With the inside knowledge offered to him, Kim Hee Woo becomes a savvy investor while delving deeply in real estate and accumulating wealth along the way. He made it to the success ladder and all he has to do is climb and climb.

Again My Life paints a glowing picture of a motivated young man driven by his dogged desire to succeed. Throwing the spotlight on youths and the elderly, the drama emphasizes the importance of intergenerational relationships and spells out the respect that should be accorded to the elderly who still have a lot to contribute to society.

The reunion of Lee Joon Gi and Lee Soon Jae in Again My Life has aroused great enthusiasm among K-Drama viewers. They are convinced that the chemistry of both actors would shine most brightly in this new partnership as Lee Joon Gi and Lee Soon Jae had been cast as Vampire Kim Sung Yeol and King Hyeonjo respectively in the 2015 vampire drama, The Scholar Who Walks The Night.

The veteran actor played the role of his stage life as the tragic King Lear at the age of 86 last year.
