When Netflix, the giant streaming platform, recently announced that Flower of Evil which stars Lee Joon Gi, the incomparable multihyphenate actor extraordinaire, and the remarkably talented Moon Chae Won, would be made available to North America, Latin America, Europe and elsewhere, fans were delirious with joy and excitement. It is great news to Lee’s fans and global Kdrama lovers that Flower of Evil will be available worldwide. The amazing television series, which has electrified global viewers, particularly Asia, has spawned 2 adaptations (India & The Philippines). Unfortunately, all this time, Netflix has made Flower of Evil available only to a few countries, mostly in Southeast Asia. The television series aired on tvN from 29 July to 23 September 2020.

Perhaps, it’s time for them to watch Flower of Evil again.

Although Lee Joon Gi is a very popular and well-known global actor with extraordinary works, Lawless Lawyer is his only television series on Netflix North America, Japan, Latin America and elsewhere. His dramas, however, are available on Viki, VIU, IQIYI and other streaming platforms. The amazingly beautiful Flower of Evil also stars Jang Hee Jin, Seo Hyun Woo, Kim Ji Hoon and Jung Seo Yeon. Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won’s performance in their iconic television series has been widely lauded. Kim Cheol Kyu won the Best Director Award at the 2021 Baeksang Awards while Lee won 2 awards at the Asia Artist Awards in 2020. Top-notch actor Moon Chae Won, and Jung Seo Yeon, the precocious little girl who plays their daughter, pretty nail all the scenes. It is unfortunate that Moon Chae Won, the other members of the talented cast and Yoo Jung Hee (Jeong Hui Ryu), the writer of the series have not been rewarded for their efforts.
