It was reported that True CJ Creations held a ceremony on 30 November 2022 to mark
the start of the remakes of 5 kdramas by the Thais. Lee Joon Gi’s
masterpiece, tvN’s 2018 Lawless Lawyer, is one of them.
Lee Joon Gi’s performance in Lawless Lawyer was so amazing and
awe-inspiring that unsurprisingly, he was crowned the Best Male Asian Star at
StarHub Night of Stars in Singapore in 2018.

The legal-action television series is written by Yoon Hyun Ho
and directed by Kim Jin Min.

It also stars Seo Yea Ji, Lee Hye Young and Choi Min Soo.  LAWLESS LAWYER (2018) AND
(2023) It is said that Lawless LawyerTH, the Thai version of Lawless Lawyer which stars Lee Thanat (29) and Namtan Tipnaree (26), would premiere in 2023.

2022 is quite a momentous year for Lee Joon Gi. Earlier in the
year another of his masterpieces, the 2020 tvN FLOWER OF EVIL was adapted by
two countries, The Philippines (same title) and India (Duranga), and their
television series premiered this year. Now with the addition of the Thais' foray into the remake of the 2018 tvN LAWLESS LAWYER, Lee Joon Gi's global stature as an actor has risen a few notches.

It was a HISTORIC occasion in the South Korean showbusiness history this year as it was the first time that a South Korean television series has been adapted by the Indians. The Indian market is reputed to be very difficult to penetrate.
It is also the first time that a Korean drama has 2 foreign adaptations, and both premiered in the same year, 2022.
Flower of Evil is written by Yoo Jung Hee and directed by Kim Cheol Kyu, who was presented with the Best TV Director Award at the Baeksang Awards in 2021.
