Lee Joon Gi recently announced that Again My Life would be available exclusively on Hulu Japan from 6 December 2022 onwards. Hulu, an American subscription streaming service, is majority-owned by The Walt Disney Company, with Comcast’s NBC Universal holding a minority stake.

 

Lee's fantasy-legal-action television series has captured the imagination and won the hearts of the Japanese viewers. It has taken the Number 1 Asian Drama spot on Hulu.

It is interesting to note the reason for the choice of the name, Hulu.

 

"Hulu is Mandarin for guord. We thought, What a great name that is. And it had this great sort of symbolism of ‘holder of precious things’, which is the holder of premium content. So, that’s why we name it Hulu."

 

Hulu was launched on 29 October 2007. As of 1 October 2022, Hulu has a total of 47.2 million subscribers. The service launched in Japan marks Hulu's first international expansion.
