  It’s been 10 years since the end of Lee Joon Gi’s military service. Lee began his mandatory military duties on 3 May 2010. He served in the military until his discharge on 16 February 2012 after 21 months of active
duty. Lee Joon Gi’s popularity begun
when his fame rose to stratospheric heights after his 2005 movie, The King and The
Clown. Lee Joon Gi is the Top Hallyu Superstar who drives the Hallyu
Wave. Nobody is as significant or outstanding as the multihyphenate global

when he left for the army. It was
reported that more than 500 of Lee’s fans tearfully bid him farewell. It was
a big send off. It was the first time in military history that so many fans
came to support a superstar. When Lee was discharged in 2012, they were
ecstatic. They had waited for The Return of The King for so long. It was reported that about 2,000 fans including international fans
waited for him in the cold wintry night. One fan came from as far away as
Seattle in the United States. Many came from Mainland China, Hong Kong,
Taiwan, Japan and elsewhere. The two dates are momentous events in the history of the Asian and South Korean showbusiness industries. It must be emphasized that these two events are ironclad evidences of his popularity as the Top Hallyu Superstar. NO OTHER ACTOR, before nor after him, has experienced this phenomenal support from their fans. None can deny that the multitalented Lee Joon Gi is incomparable and in a league of his own. The other actors or stars are never mentioned or spoken in the same breath as Lee Joon Gi.

of all of the celebrity soldiers, the best shooter was Lee Joon Gi. Out of 20
targets, he shot 19, and showed that he was the King of Sharpshooters. He

Ambassador for the International Disaster Nursing Conference and Disaster

He was a soloist in the play and displayed his silky vocals. The actor suffered head injuries in an accident during the rehearsal on the opening day. It was reported that he needed 51 stitches to close the wound.
