seems to be an outpouring of love for Lee Joon Gi and the My Life Again
team. Do Ji Won, another former co-star, surprised Lee Joon Gi with the coffee truck support that she sent on
25.02.2022 and she also wished him and the Again My Life team great success. Lee, who once worked with Do Ji Won on the movie, Flying Boys (2004), had sent coffee truck support for her back in
2019. Do Ji Won (56), a St. Valentine’s
Day baby, is best known for her roles in Ladies of the Palace
(2001), Punch Lady (2007) and Smile Again (2010). Upon her graduation as a dance major from
Hanyang University, Do Ji Won joined the Korea National Ballet. Selected as
the model for the company’s advertisements, she soon debuted in the
entertainment industry. In Flying Boys, Lee Joon
Gi plays Dong Wan, a high school senior, who has male friends troubled by the
common adolescent problems: family conflicts, identity crisis, boy-girl relationships and examination stress. An unfortunate accident brought the
boys and Yang Jung Sook, a ballet instructor (played by Do Ji Won) together.
She blackmails them into taking her ballet class at the community centre. The
film ends with a memorable ballet performance by the dance teacher and the
dance group. It is quite obvious that the handsome Lee
Joon Gi had that star quality then. It was fortuitous that his luck changed
drastically the next year with The King and The Clown. Do Ji Won was
not given enough screen time in the movie to flaunt her special ballet
talent. Lee Joon Gi and Do Ji Won should come together in another movie or
drama. It would be interesting as they share a love for dancing and they are
both great dancers. FLYING BOYS (2004) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV2VbCuOrkU&t=1s Again My Life, the 16-episode SBS drama with
criminal law, political, action, mystery, time travel and fantasy
elements, is the most highly anticipated drama in 2022. It is directed by
Director Han Chul Soo, scripted by J and Kim Yul, and adapted from Lee
Hae-nal’s web novel of the same name to the screen by Lee Byung-hun. Lee
Soo Min is the Action and Martial Arts Director. The drama, which will premiere
in April, is produced by Samhwa Networks and Cross Pictures. Again My Life can also be viewed on VIU. |
