THE DREAM

CAST AND DIRECTOR

WILL

SPRINKLE

MAGIC DUST

ON

THE EXCITING

AND

UNIQUE

TELEVISION SERIES
AGAIN MY LIFE

Spell his name as Kim Hee Woo, not Kim Hee Wu. Well, everyone is already in love with the prosecutor’s name. KIM – HE WOOS. True. It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that Kim Hee Woo, portrayed by Lee Joon Gi, would woo everyone with his beguiling looks, disarming smiles, natural charisma, dazzling witticisms, wicked sense of humour, innate intelligence, marvellous athleticism and fighting skills. The sterling actor, together with the Dream cast and director, Han Chul Soo, is expected to work his usual magic in the 16-episode SBS television series. The series, which is scripted by two writers, J (제이) and Kim Yool-II (김율), is slated to air in April 2022. Again My Life, originally a novel by Lee Hae Nal, has also been released as a webtoon.

Lee Joon Gi, an all-rounder in the Asian showbusiness industry, has won many acting awards and other awards including international awards from China, the US, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore. The achievements of the gorgeous 40-year-old  multihyphenate are dizzying; he has fingers in almost everything; he’s an actor & martial artist (film & television), popstar (singing & dancing), model (catwalk & print), reality shows, reality drama, publications, music albums, theatre, radio, web series and brand ambassadorships. He has even directed his own series and won the Grand Prize for Lee Joon Gi’s JG Style at the 5th Japan Skapa Awards in 2009. Recently, it was reported that there will be a remake of his 2020 television series, Flower of Evil, by the Philippines, a great affirmation of the sterling performance of the cast, particularly his and Moon Chae Won's performance, the excellent quality of the television series, the genius direction and the unique script.

Han Chul Soo

The 60-year-old Han Chul Soo had previously directed the critically acclaimed 2019 drama, Graceful Family, ‘the highest rated drama in the MBN network history at the time of its run. According to Wikipedia, 'It is currently ranked as the second-highest rated drama of the network.’

If the innovative director has his way, the viewers would probably not recognize the new television series when they compare it with the original work come April 2022. He and his Dream Team will sprinkle lots of fairy dust on the Action-Thriller-Legal-Supernatural television series with Time Travel elements. The excited fans are confident that Again My Life will be a ground-breaking masterpiece. The production team says, ‘The drama was planned to give satisfaction and fun.’ That means the viewers have been promised that they would be greatly humoured during their entertaining ride. It is time to make your requests known to the director.

Living in THE PRESENT, Kim Hee Woo, an impetuous Public Prosecutor, is hell-bent on trapping Cho Tae Seop, the evil politician, a ‘devil in disguise’. Cho is played by Lee Kyung Young. Oblivious that evil is hot on his heels, he succumbed to a brutal murder. DEATH BY WATER. Was he injected with poison or killed with a drug overdose? Was he sealed in an oil drum and thrown into the sea? It is unsurprising that the foolhardy Kim Hee Woo is so easily overpowered. It is impossible to fight great evil without thorough preparation and a comprehensive strategy which is DESIGNED TO WIN.

One can imagine the swirling black clouds, the streaks of lightning, the crash and rumble of thunder, and the freak thunderstorm when the violent, untimely death occurs. A bleak and unearthly night indeed.

Will Kim Hee Woo, who is destined to be resurrected, rise into the air? The lucky man is given the opportunity to reboot his life and change the world by Lady Death or The Lady Reaper, played by the lovely Cha Joo Young. Cha plays dual roles – Han Ji Hyun, Cho Tae Seop’s secretary as well as Lady Death.

Kim Hee Woo returns to The Past where his life is reset for the Future. He returns to teenagehood to hone his skills and deepen his knowledge. He meets the vivacious and talented Kim Hee Ah, played by the beautiful Kim Ji Eun.

Gathering a force of faithful, trusty and well-beloved friends, he becomes a force of nature - unstoppable and unchallengeable, to defeat and punish the great evil in The Future. The story of Kim Hee Woo is a spiritual and emotional journey of a student-cum-adult from THE PRESENT to THE PAST and then, to THE FUTURE: PrePaFu.

There is a saying in the manga, ‘To catch the devil, you have to be one’. Shudder. Shudder. Shudder.

Some would say,

‘To catch the devil, you have to go to hell.’ That’s even worse. Horrors.

Or,

‘To catch the devil, you have to think like one.’ Get into the mind of the devil.

Or,

‘Set a devil to catch a devil.’ (Set a thief to catch a thief)

Or,

‘To catch a devil, you must recruit his disciples’.
