10 June 2020 was the official launch of Friendtimes’ spectacular Palace 3D or Gung 3D, a palace romance mobile game, whose official ambassador is Lee Joon Gi, Asia’s most handsome multihyphenate. Upon his appointment, Lee declared that the ancient palace in Palace 3D is recreated in full 3D graphics for the first time ever. It is a radical change from the stereotypical mobile games of its genre.


















Unquestionably, Lee Joon Gi, the King of Historical Dramas, having starred in at least 5 very successful and impressive historical dramas, is the perfect ambassador for the historical palace mobile game. Lee is famous globally as the charismatic and unforgettable screen hero, Prince Wang So and Emperor Gwangjong in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Hearts have been badly broken and lives have been emotionally scarred by Lee’s amazing performance in that 2016 historical masterpiece. Wang So and Gwangjong will be forever etched in every viewer’s mind.











To mark the grand launch of the historical fantasy game, a 30-second TV commercial, ‘Enjoy Palace in full 3D’ was unveiled. Prior to that, the Asian historical mobile game was being advertised in subway stations in South Korea.












Friendtimes’ has woven a wholly new Asian fantasy-themed RPG (role play game) in Full 3D. ‘Palace 3D’ is touted to be a romance that’s even ‘more brilliant than the moonlight’. The mobile game has brought Emperor Gwangjong, the tenth century heroic emperor back to life. The emperor, now a time traveller, has arrived in the future and returned to his palace again. Lee Joon Gi, the ambassador, invites everyone to meet him in his dazzling palace, which exists in the realms of fantasy. His mesmerising words, ‘I’ve found you’ and ‘It’s time to return to Palace together’ would surely send shivers of pleasure throughout one’s body.

The iconic Asian superstar further explains that Palace 3D is a historical romance game where the users can ‘create their own style’, meaning one can tailor one’s game experience using the powers of one’s human imagination so that it oozes one’s distinctive personal style.

An exciting feature is, instead of using the default characters, one can create one’s very own radically different character set in a variety of scenarios. One’s tale of adventure would be completely exciting and immersive.
