 It was that time of the year again when everyone gathered around
to celebrate and have fun as the new year approached. Lee Joon Gi, Moon Chae
Won, Jang Hee Jin, Seo Hyun Woo and Kim Ji Hoon, the co-stars of the 2020 global
masterpiece, Flower of Evil, had a heartwarming reunion dinner to welcome 2024.
The actors, having cultivated their friendship, are good friends and have often
gathered not just to celebrate their unwavering friendship but also to remind us
of their great achievement, the television masterpiece, Flower of Evil.   
Lee has known Kim Ji Hoon since his military days. Jang Hee Jin is his co-star in 2015 vampire television series,
The Scholar Who Walks The Night and the 2020 Flower of Evil. The actor, whose fortunes changed overnight with The King and The
Clown fame, and Moon Chae Won became co-stars in the 2017 Criminal Minds
(Korea) and the 2020 Flower of Evil. Lee has become firm friends with Seo Hyun Woo since Flower of Evil.
 The Flower of Evil team have received inumerable local and global
accolades for their performance. Director Kim Cheol Kyu won the Best Director award at the 57th
Baeksang Arts Awards (2021).
Lee Joon Gi won two awards, Best Artist Award and Asia Celebrity Award
in the 2020 Asia Artist Awards show.

Lee Joon Gi was also proclaimed
the 2020 ICON for Drama by Cultura, the South Korean magazine for Culture and

  Al Jazeera, an international English language news channel which
can be trusted for its news, highly recommends viewers to watch Flower
of Evil (and 5 other Korean series) instead of Squid Game. This proves

  And, the television series has its Indian and Filipino
adaptations or remakes.
It would be interesting to watch all versions and how the
characters are interpreted but there seems to be no platform to watch the
Indian remake comprising Season 1 and Season 2 except for Zee5.
   The Filipino adaptation which is streamed on Viu stars some
remarkable actors led by the handsome and talented Piolo Pascual and beautiful and
dynamic Lovi Poe.
 
The careers of the stars of Flower of Evil, who have been nominated for a number
of awards, have been flourishing since 2020. Lee Joon Gi received the Top
Excellence Award for Again My
Life at the SBS Awards in 2022.
Moon Chae Won received the Actor of the Year Award for her
television series, Payback, at the Consumer Rights Day KCA Culture and
Entertainment Awards in 2023. She also won the Top Excellence Award for the
same television series at the SBS Awards in 2023.
Seo Hyun Woo won the Korean Fantastic Actor Award for his movie
Thunderbird at the 2022 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and also won
Best New Actor in Film for Decision To Leave in The Director’s Cut Awards in
2023. Kim Ji Hoon won the Best Artist Award for Ballerina at the 2023 Asia
Artist Awards.
The question in the minds of avid fans of Flower of Evil: Is
there going to be a sequel?
