It has been said that Korean is the contender for the title of ‘The Fastest Growing Language’ propelled by the astonishing growth of the Kpop industry. The stellar increase is bolstered by the presence of Korean language learning materials, and Lee Joon Gi’s Korean language-learning textbooks, ‘Hello Korean’ have pushed Korean language learning into the spotlight. 


Recently, the Koreans have tapped into the Spanish market with the addition of ‘Hello Korean’ in Spanish. The books are now available in 5 languages - English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.

There was a dearth of suitable Korean learning materials for beginners at the turn of the 21st century so Lee volunteered to contribute to the Korean language project. The series of Korean textbooks have been written with the interests of Korean-learning beginners in mind. It prepares foreign learners to learn Korean from basic level up to examination level.



 

 

 



Lee Joon Gi was enthusiastic about being involved in the Korean Language textbooks, ‘Hello~Korean’ before he enlisted in the army.  

 

 

 

 



Riding the crest of the Hallyu Wave after he catapulted into fame and popularity with The King and The Clown, My Girl and Iljimae, Lee participated in the planning stages of the books, and authorised the use of his voice in the audio teaching materials. The language landscape has now changed with Lee Joon Gi’s valuable contribution.
