  Lee Joon Gi, the very hardworking actor-superstar, who always plans for the future, was at work
again not long after the airing of his previous television series, SBS' Again
My Life. Before he embarked on his next television series, tvN’s Arthdal
Chronicles, he went on a secret trip to Vietnam. Even his Vietnamese fans
were taken by surprise by Lee’s work trip to their beautiful country. He left
Incheon International Airport for the South-east Asian nation without fanfare
on 13 June 2022.

When some of his Vietnamese fans learnt about his trip to Da
Nang, they were excited. Lee Joon Gi was grateful for their enthusiasm but
the work team performed their due diligence and discouraged fans from
approaching the work area to ensure everyone’s safety. The fans were further requested
to refrain from uploading pictures or video clips about the project. The
schedule was kept a tight secret. Despite that, pictures appeared on the
Internet. Many fans speculated that his work was
related to The Star magazine.
It is not a secret though that the multihyphenate actor had been to many countries in his collaboration with The Star magazine for their
photobook projects. If the speculation proves to be correct, the trip would be their
fifth overseas collaboration. He went to Hawaii, USA (2016), Okinawa, Japan
(2018), Thailand (2019), Macau, China (2020). Last year, he stayed on home

       Lee uploaded some pictures on Instagram. He stayed at the luxury beach resort, Four Seasons Resort The Nam
Hai in Hoi An. When he departed for home, a group of fans went to the airport
to bid him farewell. He received a warm reception upon arrival in Seoul.
