AGAIN MY LIFE

FILMING LOCATION

GRABS

GLOBAL MEDIA ATTENTION

Lee Joon Gi seemed to have been very excited to receive the coffee truck support gift from Moon Chae Won on 11 January 2022 at the Again My Life filming location. Who wouldn’t? He wasn’t the only one. It was an icy cold winter day, probably in the dead of winter. The production staff, Lee’s team members and Han Chul Soo, the director of Again My Life were also eager to have a cup of warm beverage and delicious snacks.

The main banner of the coffee truck indicates Moon Chae Won’s strong support for Lee Joon Gi, 'I'm rooting for Again My Life actor, Lee Joon Gi.' The standing banner encourages the cast and crew to do their best.

Lee responded with his 11/01/2022 Instagram update. ‘It must have been hard for you to arrange the date for delivery to the set, but thank you so much, Chaewon, for your support. Let us warm ourselves up with a warm cup of tea and everyone, fighting (cheer up).’

It is no surprise that the global media were quick to report the interesting event. No less than 10 media organizations rose to the occasion to give interesting details, accounts and the background of their friendship.

One cannot emphasize enough that Lee had sent support coffee trucks to other former co-stars and they had responded with a similar gesture. The public would not have known that the generous and kind-hearted Lee Joon Gi had often taken on the role of an older brother and had also sent coffee trucks to other previous co-stars to encourage them and boost their morale. He had also sent Moon Chae Won a similar coffee truck earlier to her film set, We Grow Up and Moon was just reciprocating his generous gift.

Readers are only human. Those who are not in the know may have read more than necessary into the friendly gesture. They think they have caught a whiff of romance between the two. Some fans, the JoonChae fandom, as usual, are feverishly shipping them. Many fans of MLSHR have also worked with frenetic excitement to ship Lee Joon Gi with IU (Lee Ji Eun), the famous singer-actor. Many fans are amused and entertained. But, who knows?

If one were to explore the origins of the Lee Joon gi-Moon Chae Won relationship, one could get a sense of what it is exactly. Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won had filmed two dramas together, Criminal Minds (2017) and Flower of Evil (2020). In Criminal Minds, Moon Chae Won’s deference to him as her senior was palpable. However, since then, their friendship has been close. The chemistry of the beautiful and most-loved drama couple is obvious in Flower of Evil.

Some of their drama lines are romantic. ‘Are you sure you're not the only one who doesn't know that you like me?’

‘Ji-won-ah, you're the one thing in my life that's the hardest to explain.’

Many viewers hope that they will film a third drama together.
