Lee Joon Gi, Asia’s King of
Song and Dance, was warmly welcomed by his local and global fans, when he flew
into Yokohama for the Lee Joon Gi Splendor Family Day: Lucky Draw Fan Concert which was held on 28 June 2025. 
Coincidentally, a week before
the concert, Japan and Korea marked the 60th anniversary of their
diplomatic ties and the cooperation between the two countries. Lee Joon Gi and
his Japanese fans also share a 2-decade long history – since the days of The King and
The Clown. The beloved Lee, who symbolizes South Korea’s global cultural
impact, is, in fact, the unsung cultural ambassador between the two
countries. The multihyphenate has held many concerts in the cities of Japan throughout those years and he is publicly known to be deeply grateful to his loyal and devoted Japanese fans, who have always been passionately supportive of him.
 The grand and enthusiastic welcome
Lee Joon Gi received was phenomenal and generous. In a powerful show of
support, his dedicated and passionate local and global fans pulled out all
stops, meticulously organizing large-scale, stunning and impressive advertisement campaigns. Yokohama
pulsed with eye-catching and colourful posters, flags and vibrant digital billboards
with images of the handsome celebrity. A truck, with a striking mobile LED advertisement, roamed
certain streets of the city. The vicinity of concert venue also burst into life
with a creative art show featuring the multihyphenate himself, a coffee café (Happy Lucky Cafe), a
‘Photomatic’ selfie photo booth and numerous beautiful flower stands. An exciting lucky draw and special
giveaways add to the excitement of the concert.
  
The fully-packed auditorium
of the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall awakened on 28 June in a riot of colours
and celebration. The awesome screen backdrop was a canvas which displayed the creativity and imagination of
the concert planners. The audience was electrified by Lee Joon Gi’s sensational
performance, which oozed non-stop energy and pure excitement from start to finish.
The multi-faceted actor wowed the audience with his flawless vocals and
show-stopping dance moves; he even threw in some of the signature killer dance
moves that he is celebrated for. The show, including the photo session, a joyful experience, was
filled with smiles, laughter and unforgettable moments.
 But, what made the concert even more amazing was he was accompanied by his dedicated team of dynamic musicians and troupe of energetic and synchronized dancers. The enthusiastic attitude and humour of Tomoki Fujiwara, his specially invited host, was contagious. Even Kim Dong Sik, the CEO of NamooActors, came quietly to support him. The fan concert would not have been such a resounding success without the passion and loving support of his fans, particularly his Japanese fans.
It was an epic night. Lee Joon Gi’s unforgettable stellar world-class performance left the international audience exhilarated and visibly moved. The magnetic superstar entertained the concertgoers with his heartfelt anecdotes and charmed the audience with his playful humour, warmth and wit. His truly one-of-a-kind charisma and irresistible charm set him apart from the rest of the performers of the entertainment world. Lee is an example par excellence of how the correct combination of professionalism, reputation, personality and charm can bring success to a brand - the Lee Joon Gi brand. Lee also does not shy away from personally interacting with his fans.
