 Who would you want to be the Master of Ceremonies for your wedding? It was reported that the
humble and down-to-earth superstar Lee Joon Gi was the MC for the wedding of Hong Seok Woo, his Personal Manager, on 11 August 2024. It was a wedding to remember. Imagine getting your boss to be your emcee! It was an honour, of course, for the handsome and wholesome global superstar to be there for Hong and to make memorable memories for him, his bride and his family.
         Now, who really is Hong Seok
Woo? Perhaps, we have seen him around Lee Joon Gi and thought that he has been
employed to be his bodyguard for certain events.
   
Most fans would recognise Lee Sang Hyun, Lee's former Personal Manager, who was hired in 2015 when Lee was filming The Scholar Who Walks The Night. They celebrated 10 years of togetherness this year.

In 2018 (Year of the Golden Dog), Sang Hyun whom Lee Joon Gi
affectionately calls, ‘my liitle brother’ was promoted to ‘Gwanjang’ (Korean
corporate title) or Head / Manager of a Team. That promotion called for a
celebration by JG’s Team. Sang Hyun is someone whom the superstar could trust.
But, nobody knows when Hong Seok Woo was appointed as Lee’s
Personal Manager.
 
The affable, warm-hearted and
winsome superstar seems to be very obliging when he is requested to be the MC
for any team member’s wedding. Not long ago, he was also the MC for the wedding of a
female member of his dance team.
 Lee, who sounded like a
professional emcee, used his charisma and public speaking skills to the
fullest to create a lovely atmosphere and an unforgettable memory for the
blessed couple.
