When former co-stars and ex-collegues get together for a meal, fans are overly excited and their imagination goes into overdrive. On 18 June 2024, Lee Joon Gi uploaded  a post showing that he had met up with the cast and the crew of his groundbreaking 2023 High Fantasy-Mythological-War television series, The Sword of Aramun of which he is the leading actor. The television series, in which Lee Joon Gi showcased his spectacular acting and action performance, has garnered innumerable accolades from critics and viewers alike from around the world.

 











 

The gathering was organised after Lee's Splendor Family Day concert held on 14 June at the 5,000-seat National Convention Hall of the Pacifico Yokohama where he was given a Standing Ovation by his Japanese fans.

Director Kim Kwang Sik, Choi Chan Ming, the Director of Photography; Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ok Vin and a mysterious person were at the gathering of talented people whom Lee Joon Gi describes as ‘The Best of The Best’ on his Instagram post. Is the person Kim Tae Seong, the music director and composer? All of those present are multiple award winners. The talented people, particularly Lee Joon Gi, have significantly contributed to the outstanding television series, The Sword of Aramun. The Best in Television.

 











 

In The Sword of Aramun, the sequel to Arthdal Chronicles Season 1, Lee Joon Gi plays dual roles and portrays a pair of twins, Inaishingi-Aramun and Saya, his identical twin, while Jang Dong Gun reprises his role as Tagon. Kim Ok Vin also reprises her role as Taealha. The acting, the direction, the photography, the music and the wardrobe are magificient.

 

The question that pops up in everyone’s mind is: ‘Is the sequel to The Sword of Aramun in the works?’

 

There seems to be a magazine advertising American Whiskey. They were probably drinking a certain brand of American whiskey.















Lee says, ‘It was so much fun’, in response to Choi Chan Ming’s post. They should meet up more often then.
