Hunky Lee Joon Gi sizzles in a slightly-opened pink and white striped  mid-driff shirt or crop top and white pants on the beach in Bali. The sexy man flaunted his toned chest, navel and waist. Lee, being a seasoned Model knew how to stroll seductively on the beach. The multihyphenate Actor-Action Star-Singer-Dancer-Model was on a work trip to the most popular holiday destination in Indonesia.   In the photoshoot for a photobook, Lee was filmed in an iconic beach moment. He looked amazing with his well-toned chest peeking out of his fashionable partially-unbuttoned shirt. He is a sight to be behold. It leaves a lot for the imagination. Was the illusion cleverly planned? Was he, in fact, riding on a ocean toy or gadget? But, at the end of the video, we learn that what we had perceived was wrong. Lee could be seen kneeling on the beach.     At one point, when he shielded his eyes from the sun, he looked cute and adorable. With his eyes closed, he looked just as sexy. The forever-young and gorgeous 42-year old Lee never looked better in the South-east Asian paradise where international tourists splash in the waves day and night. He simply doesn’t seem to age.     There’s no stopping Lee Joon Gi. He is not just making a splash in Bali but he is making a splash in the global scene. Everyone was taken by surprise when Lee Joon Gi made the exciting announcement about his upcoming Asia Tour during his very successful 2024 Splendor Family Day: Love Blossom on 14 June 2024. Though the audience were caught off-guard, they immediately applauded him. All his fans are certain that he would infuse his concerts with his boundless energy, passionate singing and vigorous dance routines that never cease to amaze them. He sprints from one end of the stage to the other, often leaping, jumping, dancing animatedly or shaking his body provocatively. The accomplished singer dazzles with his melodious songs, brilliant dancing, flexibility, stamina and all-round strength. It was announced that he would be touring ‘Taipei, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. And more. Coming soon.’ Lee would be running a marathon, sweeping through so many cities. He has never held any concerts in Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur before. When former co-stars and ex-collegues get together for a meal, fans are overly excited and their imagination goes into overdrive. On 18 June 2024, Lee Joon Gi uploaded  a post showing that he had met up with the cast and the crew of his groundbreaking 2023 High Fantasy-Mythological-War television series, The Sword of Aramun of which he is the leading actor. The television series, in which Lee Joon Gi showcased his spectacular acting and action performance, has garnered innumerable accolades from critics and viewers alike from around the world.     The gathering was organised after Lee's Splendor Family Day concert held on 14 June at the 5,000-seat National Convention Hall of the Pacifico Yokohama where he was given a Standing Ovation by his Japanese fans.   https://www.facebook.com/reel/984287699684927 Director Kim Kwang Sik, Choi Chan Ming, the Director of Photography; Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ok Vin and a mysterious person were at the gathering of talented people whom Lee Joon Gi describes as ‘The Best of The Best’ on his Instagram post. Is the person Kim Tae Seong, the music director and composer? All of those present are multiple award winners. The talented people, particularly Lee Joon Gi, have significantly contributed to the outstanding television series, The Sword of Aramun. The Best in Television.     In The Sword of Aramun, the sequel to Arthdal Chronicles Season 1, Lee Joon Gi plays dual roles and portrays a pair of twins, Inaishingi-Aramun and Saya, his identical twin, while Jang Dong Gun reprises his role as Tagon. Kim Ok Vin also reprises her role as Taealha. The acting, the direction, the photography, the music and the wardrobe are magificient.   The question that pops up in everyone’s mind is: ‘Is the sequel to The Sword of Aramun in the works?’   There seems to be a magazine advertising American Whiskey. They were probably drinking a certain brand of American whiskey. Lee says, ‘It was so much fun’, in response to Choi Chan Ming’s post. They should meet up more often then.   Besides being streamed on Disney Plus, The Sword of Aramun is now available on Hulu.

Such a stunning and intelligent idea. That was the topic of the paper presented by Digna Delfino and Jomari Echano of the De La Salle University in the Philippines on 22 May 2024. The College of Liberal Arts, De La Salle University (DLSU) in cooperation with Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, held a joint conference on ‘Asian TV Dramas and The  Popular Mind in South-east Asia’ between 20 May and 22 May 2024 in Manila. https://asiantvdramasconference.com/program-schedule/   It is significant that Lee Joon Gi’s television series have been singled out for praise. Since his rise to fame in The King and The Clown in 2005, Lee Joon Gi, the multi-talented Top Actor-Action Star and Entertainer (Singer-Dancer) has been selective and careful about the roles that he plays and the television series that he is involved in. He chooses his television series meticuluously and prioitises the positive effects they have on society.   Moral Integrity and Justice are very important issues. The many important life values embodied in Lee Joon Gi’s television series like Gunman in Joseon (2014), Moon Lovers-Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), Criminal Minds (2017), Lawless Lawyer (2018), Flower of Evil (2020), Again My Life (2022) and The Sword of Aramun (2023) provide many of life’s lessons and are worth discussing in the classroom.  https://www.facebook.com/StarFanDigs   These days when children are growing up stunted because of their diet of feather-brained celebrities and their frivolous dramas with filmsy values, special attention should be paid to intelligent and meaningful television series and the important values espoused by them. The heroic qualities of the men and women in the television series like courage, loyalty, dignity, responsibility and accountability should also be explored in the classroom.   Children need special nourishment for their mental, emotional and spiritual health. And Lee Joon Gi’s television series can decidedly satisfy these needs.
