Joongi’s Day 2024 In Seoul: Spring Again  It’s spring again. Another
springtime surprise. Lee Joon Gi, who is South Korea’s most enduring singer-actor
icon since his singing debut in 2006, will soon hold his next concert in Seoul
on 11 May 2024. The gorgeous actor-artiste who has a innate gift for entertainment has
never slackened his pace after his phenomenal rise with his astonishing 2005
movie, The King and The Clown. Known as ‘The King’ - the K-industry king, the multi-talented
and much awarded actor-martial artist-singer-dancer-model, who is known
for his laser-sharp focus, knows what his goals are in the entertainment
industry and has since become a globally popular superstar.  2006 concert  2012   The magical time when Lee
Joon Gi launched his musical career was the beginning of an era. His concerts
are still magical experiences. With his business acumen and savvy, he is now the
K-entertainment pop god, one of the greatest entertainers of the industry by
which all other South Korean artistes are measured. 
A Kstar interview conducted about
Lee Joon Gi with Kyung Bok, one of the important musicians in the industry many
years ago is a revelation. What Kyung Bok said was true then and is still true
today. Beside being described as ‘a natural born artist’, Kyung Bok also
observed that Lee was ‘innocent or pure’. He
humorously compared him to ‘a kid’. This probably meant that Lee was playful
and in a state of perpetual adolescence. The multihyphenate’s penchant for
playfulness does not diminish his reputation or his importance as a pop icon
and top actor but has enhanced it.
  Playful Lee Joon Gi    Kyung Bok also praised Lee as
‘a very talented dancer’. Having been in the industry for over a decade,
he thought that Lee Joon Gi was probably ‘the best dancer of all the actors’.
He emphasized Lee’s
passion. He ‘is not just good at it but he also loves it so much. His
greatest strength is that he is equally great in both areas, which you don’t
see in any other actor.’ It was true then and is true now. ‘He is
equally great when performing on stage like a musician and when performing as
an actor. He is probably the best perfomer that’s equally good in both areas.’ The
top Korean artiste and actor.
Lee Joon Gi is, in fact, The King. There
have been pretenders or contenders for the title of king but there is only one
King, and Lee Joon Gi embodies the very essence of it.
