What we know about the sequel to Arthdal Chronicles is that Eun Seom will rise as a powerful leader in the east. Having united all the tribes and clans under the Ago Alliance, he will challenge the might of Tagon, the fake Aramun Haesulla.

The sequel is set eight years after Tagon had risen to the Arthdal throne in Arth. Tagon, played by Jang Dong Gun, calls himself Aramun.

Tanya, played by Shim Sae Kyung, emerges as the High Priestess who is also a threat to Tagon.

Kim Ok Vin will reprise her role as the ambitious and power-hungry Tae Al Ha, a member of the Hae Tribe. The tribe monopolises knowledge about the bronze-making process. Would the sequel to Arthdal Chronicles be the beginning of the Iron Age?

According to the fantasy tale, Aramun Haesulla, the heavenly god of Harmony and Unification, is the founder of Arthdal, a mythical land in an ancient world of Arth. Aramun Haesulla, an Igutu, had proclaimed that if he wanted to end the world, he would send down 3 heavenly objects: The SWORD to slay the wicked, The star-shaped BELL to echo the news throughout the world, and The MIRROR to illuminate the world. Each of these 3 heavenly objects, which represents a character in the story, will fight against Tagon.

It is said that the Igutu, Eum Seom, the son of Ragaz, a Neandal, and Asa Hon, a Saram, represents Aramun HaesullaTo the people of Arthdal, Eun Seom is the incarnation of Aramun Haesulla. He is The Sword.

The sword symbolizes leadership, dignity, power, courage, strength and vigilance.

Eun Seom, is The Sword, who is chosen by Aramun Haesulla to combat the forces of evil, represented by Tagon.

One can imagine Eun Seom as an actual human weapon  - a moving human 'sword'. Watch the swift swing of the moving 'sword' or the rotating movement of the 'sword' towards the target. AWESOME!

Eum Seom, as the Sword of Aramun, is then, the tool or instrument of the god, Aramun, to fight the evil forces. He is the HUMAN sword of the god of Arthal.

Interestingly, the title can also be interpreted that if Eum Seom is the Aramun since he has inherited the title, it means that Eun Seom has a special sword. He, Eum Seom, is not just the SWORD, a tool, of Arthdal’s heavenly god but he also possesses a special sword.

A very intriguing title.

The Ago Union, however, is convinced Eun Seom is Inaishingi, the unifying god of the Ago tribes. Inaishingi is also the god of the waterfall and the god of justice. Eun Seom who, like Inaishingi, had survived the deadliest waterfall and he uses this fact to advantage to unite all the tribes under the Ago Alliance against Tagon.

Tanya is The Bell and Saya, also the son of Ragaz and Asa Ron, is The Mirror.

But, in the end, will The Sword smash The Mirror, that reflects him, into shards? Will Eun Seom and Saya fight to death?

Eun Seom, Saya and Tagon are Igutus. Igutus are born from the union of a Saram and a Neanthal. Igutus are naturally stronger than a Saram, but weaker than a Neanthal

Sarams are similar to humans.

The first installment of Arthdal Chronicles contains a bleak prophesy of war and death.

‘I had a dream last night.

You will all end up killing each other.’

No one knows the premiere date of the television series. The filming duration is from 22 August to April 2023. It seems the eager viewers can’t wait.
