Lee
Joon Gi, after his 2018-2019 ‘Delight’ Asia Tour took off in Seoul on 15
December 2018, immediately embarked on the first leg of his overseas tour to Osaka, Japan the very next day. The Asian superstar, having enjoyed a further upsurge of popularity
with the tremendous success of Lawless Lawyer, was treated like South Korean royalty. He was given a kingly send-off; the event was widely covered by the media.
As
usual, Lee was well-groomed and stylish. He was wearing Oliver Spencer’s suede
Gandy Bomber jacket in cognac colour. The jacket
features two large button down patch pockets on the front. The collar, cuffs
and waistband have a slight ribbing detail. He looked dashing, slender and fit.
When Lee Joon Gi arrived in Osaka, his enthusiastic Japanese fans were on hand to give him
a very warm welcome.
Lee did not lose any time in practising with his band of musicians and dance
crew.
The
support given to him by his Osaka fans was tremendous. Many beautiful congratulatory flower
stands adorned the lobby of the concert venue. Since it was Christmas time, it seemed as if the
venue had taken on a festive and cheerful air.
As
in all his 'Delight' Asia Tour concerts, Lee Joon Gi performed 20 songs, not including the encores.
One
particular characteristic of Lee Joon Gi’s Japanese fans is that they are
quite disciplined and do not take videos of the concerts. In fact, all of
Lee’s fan concerts in Osaka (17 December) and Yokohama (19 and 20 December)
seemed to be shrouded in mystery.
The
end of his ‘Delight’ Japan Tour calls for a celebration. Lee Joon Gi had transfixed
his Japanese audience; there had been a buzz of excitement in the *South
Korean media that Lee Joon Gi had delighted 10,000 people in his three tremendously successful
concerts in Japan.

in all, Lee Joon Gi must have entertained more than 15,000 Japanese fans this
year. *HelloKPop reported that Lee had held a concert for 5,000 fans on
26 April 2018. Lee had been spectacular on the stage for the Splendor Family
Day concert at the Tokyo International Forum and none would ever forget his
amazing performance. In fact, according to *Naver, he had left a lasting
impression on a Hallyu expert who was in the audience.
