Many fans of Lee Joon Gi see no reason why they should fill
their waking hours with brooding over the evils of the day like injustice,
prejudice, hubris, lies, misinformation, disinformation and whatnot. Perhaps,
this should be left for another day. Meanwhile, there are so many wonderful
things to discuss like Lee Joon Gi’s announcement about the wrapping up of
the filming of Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon on his Instagram post
dated 29 April 2023. Lee thanked his Dream Team, particularly, Choi Chan Min,
the Director of Photography for his care, guidance, hardwork and skill of
filming him throughout the 9 months filming duration. In response, Choi Chan
Min has nothing but glowing praise for the sterling actor. It had been 9 months of exacting shooting and demanding schedules. To be precise, they filmed over a span of 138 days. For Lee Joon Gi, even his non-filming days must have been punishing. He had to exercise continuously for his formidable role as Eun Seom, a warrior of barbarian lineage fighting in the savage wars and conflicts that wreak havoc in Arthdal. The on-going strict regime and rigorous training must have been exhausting for the actor. To say the least, on his off-days, he had to prepare for his 5th May Splendor Family Day fan meeting in Yokohama, Japan. Fans have the luck of reading the revealing conversation between
Lee Joon Gi and Choi Chan Min about their filming experiences on Instagram. ‘Director, thank you so much for TAKING CARE OF ME, giving
me GREAT GUIDANCE and doing A GREAT JOB FILMING me AT ALL TIMES throughout.
You really WORKED HARD and DID A GREAT JOB. I definitely hope WE meet
(WORK) AGAIN on ANOTHER PROJECT!’ The Director of Photography enthusiastically responded. ‘LEE JOON GI - THE BEST
ACTOR I’VE EVER WORKED WITH. On every day of filming I was truly touched by and grateful
for your PASSION,
HARD WORK AND THOUGHTFULNESS towards other people. Yes, let’s definitely
meet again on another project!' https://twitter.com/jg_k_drama_417/status/1652166980747804673/photo/1 'YOU
REALLY DID SUCH A GREAT JOB! WORKING ON ARTHDAL CHRONICLES, I REALISED WHY
YOU ARE LOVED BY SO MANY PEOPLE. I hope you have made
unforgettable memories you will cherish for the rest of your life.' https://twitter.com/jg_k_drama_417/status/1652174107038081024/photo/1 ‘THANK YOU SO MUCH. THOSE TIMES, YOU, the director, HAVE WORKED WITH ME ALREADY ARE, in and of themselves, OF SUCH GREAT VALUE TO ME. IT’S BEEN AN HONOR. THANK YOU FOR CREATING GREAT MEMORIES.’ Choi Chan Min’s words of praise are morale boosters. Shin Sae Kyeong, his leading lady who plays Tanya also commented on his Instagram, ‘YOU DID A GREAT JOB, OPPA. I'M GRATEFUL TO YOU.' Lee responded, ‘Sae Kyeong, what are you saying? I’m the one who
should be THANKING YOU.’ Lee also commented on Kwak Han Jin’s (the Grip Operator) Instagram
post, ‘Han Jin, you really did AN AMAZING JOB. I’m really thankful for the
GREAT SHOTS YOU FILMED.’ Kwak Han Jin commented: As a LEAD ACTOR, actor LEE JOON GI nim, YOU WERE THE BEST OF THE BEST IN EVERYTHING, FROM THE PASSION YOU HAD TO THE LEADERSHIP THAT YOU SHOWED BY BEING SO ACCOMMODATING TO THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU. THANK YOU!! YOU DID A GREAT JOB!! https://www.instagram.com/p/Crr870bLg2c/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y%3D https://twitter.com/jg_k_drama_417/status/1653193060774445056/photo/4 Lee Joon Gi responded to the comments: HANJIN!! BEING ON SET AND FILMING DYNAMIC SCENES MUST HAVE BEEN REALLY HARD, BUT YOU WERE SO STEADFAST AND DID A GREAT JOB WORKING ALONGSIDE ME, SO I WAS REALLY TOUCHED!! I'M SORRY THAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER FOR YOU. IF WE GET TO WORK TOGETHER AGAIN ON ANOTHER PROJECT, I WILL DEFINITELY DO BETTER. FOR SUCH A LONG TIME YOU WORKED SO HARD AND I'M TRULY GRATEFUL FOR THE GREAT JOB YOU DID!! HOPEFULLY WE WILL SEE MORE OFTEN FOR A LONG TIME!! THANK YOU BRO!! The multihyphenate also responded to co-star Shin Ju Hwan who plays Dalse
in Arthdal Chronicles. The younger actor had posted some emojis on Lee’s
latest Instagram update. 'YOU REALLY DID A GREAT JOB, bro! Let us MEET AGAIN on ANOTHER GREAT PROJECT.' Dalsae is the Wahan tribe’s greatest hunter and
warrior. Although he had been mean to Eun Seom in the past, he would become the
warrior-hero’s greatest comrade in the future.
The mother of Jung Seo Yeon, the cute and precocious little
girl who worked with Lee in Flower of Evil, also left some positive
comments on his Instagram. One suddenly wonders if Seo Yeon had worked with
him again in Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon. That would have been
wonderful. They have such great chemistry as father and daughter in the 2020
television series. https://twitter.com/i/status/1652160866522128391 https://www.instagram.com/reel/CrmvFCetn-E/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y%3D Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon, which is helmed by
Director Kim Kwang Sik, is written by Kim
Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon. The ancient fantasy television series is
slated to air in September 2023. It’s going to be an agonizing wait. Everyone who’s been
waiting for so long is impatient to watch
the show. https://twitter.com/i/status/1652288944736997376
