With the stunning local and international success of SBS’ Again My Life, a Fantasy-Legal-Political-Comedy-Action drama, headed by leading actor, Lee Joon Gi and helmed by Director Han Chul Soo, expectations are running high for the cast and production crew to win a multitude of awards locally and globally. Considered an acting genius with special qualities, who is capable of extraordinary sensitivity in his performance that raise him high above the common herd, the success of Again My Life has cemented Lee Joon Gi’s reputation yet again as one of Asia’s most bankable superstars.

The avalanche of accolades and praises that Director Han Chul Soo and Lee Joon Gi have received is a measure of their genius and brilliance. Whatever Lee Joon Gi touches turns into something precious and unique that the public wants to watch. Lee has that kind of clout. Again My Life has high ratings for a weekend drama, particularly in the younger age group – an indication of its relevance and competitiveness, topping all dramas in April and May 2022. It has also captured the attention and admiration of global Kdrama viewers. Again My Life is rated first among VIU drama viewers in Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong, and among the top dramas in Malaysia, The Philippines and elsewhere.

The magnetic multihyphenate, a living legend, has dazzled with his remarkable layered acting performance, humour, array of mixed martial arts skills and amazing athleticism. Lee Joon Gi’s repertoire of MMA skills especially Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Thai Boxing skills are showcased in Again My Life. Lee’s screen persona is  noted for his dangerous stunts and acrobatic feats – falling from high structures, powerful leaps, lightning-quick tornado kicks, amazing somersault kicks and incredible punches.

Lee Joon Gi's appearance as the very youthful Kim Hee Woo is a defining moment in Kdrama history. Though there may be young looking actors in their forties in Korean showbusiness, they are not as versatile as Lee, who at 40, is known as 'The Actor With A Thousand Faces'. None can deny that Lee Joon Gi's magical transformation from 40 years old to 20 years old, in the opening sequence, is quite amazing.

Kim Hee Woo, the character that Lee Joon Gi portrays in the 16-episode Again My Life, lures the viewer to the screen and makes drama critics and the showbusiness industry sit up and take notice yet again.

There are just too many ‘Most Memorable Scenes'. That makes it difficult for us to choose the one that is the most memorable. Let us admire all the scenes that we consider as 'The Most Memorable Scene'.

The fight between Kim Hee Woo and the local thugs at the Gimsan port is perhaps the most interesting fight. It was over even before you could call out the prosecutor’s name. The prosecution and investigative team disguised themselves as port workers to uncover a plot to bring in drugs inserted into the fresh fish.

Kim Hee Woo’s lone fight against about 10 thugs seem like a mind-blowing graceful linear dance – dancing in a line against the backdrop of a ship. He combines elements of dance, acrobatics and martial arts in this scene. The cheeky and mischievous prosecutor glides and slides in and out of the line of thugs. His footwork is fluent and composed and the fighting is a dance-like movement.

It seems as if the thugs were just queuing up to be beaten up by the athletic prosecutor. He takes each and every thug down with his repertoire of fighting moves which includes Taekwondo roundhouse kicks, shoving, attacks, attack-blocking, hooks and punches. Finally, he turns around like he is doing the pirouette. He leaps and then, the audience sees him barrelling fast. His ferocious and powerful Taekwondo tornado kick tosses his opponent aside like a rag doll. It feels really good to watch a prosecutor with such amazing fighting skills.

Lee Joon Gi makes it look smooth, fluid and effortless. His dancing skills prove to be beneficial in increasing his flexibility.
