Fashion is an art. The Star Magazine featuring Lee Joon Gi on the cover, which was released in early July, expresses this idea. Lee, who wears an over-sized apple green sweater matched with a pair of light blue denim jeans on the cover, travelled to Macau, a former Portuguese colony, to shoot fashion images for the magazine as well as for the exclusive 2-volume pictorial Selfie Book in early January.
The Macau trip is more than just a photo shoot; it is a photo shoot reimagined. As Lee Joon Gi parades in his colourful and bright fashion, he injects energy and dynamism into what seems at times to be a colour fest event where fashion marries colour. The megastar communicates his art as he is captured in the streets which are resplendent with fabulous technicolour.
The Star magazine video offers readers a premium viewing experience of Lee from the comfort of home. The superstar, who has been very much at home in Macau, brings the reader on a cultural and art tour of the city which is a rich treasure trove of interesting Chinese-Portuguese cultural heritage. He and his crew lose their way in the lesser known places which are covered with beautiful street art, wall murals and graffiti.
Lee is quite clearly one breed of Asian megastars who are different. The multihyphenate’s talents surface whenever he summons them. The savvy Supermodel in Lee comes to the forefront as he struts his stuff in the photoshoot. With his expressive eyes, body language and aura of energy, Lee Joon Gi seems to be engaged in a cheerful dialogue with his viewers as he walks and prances around the older streets of the tiny island.
 
Feast on Lee as he uses his style and charisma to showcase a mesmerising rainbow-coloured sweater with a black binding at the neckline and sleeve cuffs to perfection.
 
Wearing a black shirt which is unbuttoned at the top, Lee is photographed against a grey-white-yellow wall mural. He confidently adjusts as well as straightens his dark aubergine jacket as he swaggers sexily along the road. His tantalising moves are designed to increase women's heartbeats.
 
The effervescent megastar stuns in his grey shirt as well. The shirt is teamed with a woollen plaid jacket in muted reddish-grey. His look, which is so jaw-dropping, needs no description. It is impossible not to ogle him as he glides and sometimes turns to give you an-all round view of his fashionable ensemble. The vermillion in the background energises the image. Just don’t blink when you watch the gorgeous man swing his jacket over his shoulder.
Lee has a certain kind of allure; he doesn’t need a fragrance with pheromone-like qualities to attract an audience. You’ll definitely be smitten with him.
