Lee Joon Gi travelled to Macau, a former Portuguese colony, in
early January to shoot fashion images for The Star magazine as well as the exclusive 2-volume pictorial Lee Joon Gi Selfie Book. Lee is the
cover boy for the magazine’s July issue. The Selfie Book package, consisting of two (2) 160-page volumes
of pictorials, two (2) 15-minute DVD discs and a set of 5 postcards, is
produced by The Star Asia.
The stunning pictorials,
the fabulous styling of the multihyphenate, and the elaborate Q and A section mark
the culmination of 5 days of gruelling work in Macau. The fashion images convey
Lee Joon Gi’s innate modelling talent, his boundless energy and spontaneous enthusiasm.
Lee detailed
the scrupulous preparation that went into the publication of the Selfie Book.
It required a lot of deep thinking about the kinds of images that fans would prefer.
Everything was planned to the last detail. To make it more personal, he took
many selfies as he walked around Macau.
The intelligent
interviewer conducted 5 rounds of conversations with Lee during the 6-day
trip that required him to answer 103 questions, some of which were personal
ones from inquisitive fans. Lee confirmed that he answered the questions as frankly
and seriously as he possibly could.
If one were to
study the questions carefully, one would have noticed that the interviewer
had to repeat some questions in different ways to prise out a clear answer from
the actor. One can imagine the clever and artful arm-twisting that was
carried out to get the answers to the questions that Lee’s fans had submitted.
What do fans
