Global fans are convinced that Lee Joon Gi, the lead actor who plays Baek Hee Sung, will give his finest performance as a psychopath. The same expectation goes to lead actress, Moon Chae Won who will portray Cha Ji Won, his wife. The multihyphenate global superstar who has always played heroes will now distance himself from his previous roles which is a nightmare for his fans. But, Lee Joon Gi has played a villain before - in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. That doesn’t count as it was a cameo role but his fans were distressed all the same. The superb part is the movie has proved to be the best in the Resident Evil series in terms of box office takings, particularly in China. And, Lee Joon Gi’s name is forever etched in Hollywood movie history.

Lee Joon Gi has come a long way from the time he played a feminine clown in the movie, The King and the Clown. His role of Gong Gil won him may awards and paved the way for him to play well-loved and unforgettable masculine heroes in movies and dramas, which have earned him not only widespread praise but also global fame. Lee Joon Gi is the most magnetic multihyphenate in the Asian showbusiness industry. Lee's natural charm and allure, sexual appeal, magical aura, captivating energy and enormous talents remain unduplicated.

Lee’s role as a psychopath will be challenging but is expected to be a most brilliant display of his talents. As a metalsmith, Baek Hee Sung would operate away from the limelight and behind the curtain in the family home. Whether Baek's tooling in the workshop is to produce murder weapons or beautiful works of art is a mystery. Baek Hee Sung cannot be written off as a lunatic or crackpot. Mental health matters. The issue of psychopathy is expected to be treated in an interesting and illuminating way by the director and the screenwriter.
