When synchronized kidnappings strike seven major Asian cities - Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, and Naha, seven strangers from vastly different worlds are dragged into a cruel, 10-day game of survival. Each player is handed custom-tailored missions to complete under a ticking clock. The catch? Only one victim can return alive.

Han Ki Joo is a world-renowned surgeon with a constant stream of patients seeking his services. He was at the time of his visually-impaired daughter's abduction, away from the medical field for unknown reasons. His wife is the owner of a cosmetic brand. The instructions that he has been given are incredibly difficult for a doctor. Will he be forced to abandon his medical oath and convictions to save his kidnapped elementary-school daughter?

According to the Fuji TV website, Lee Joon Gi ‘delivers a passionate performance in multiple languages as a surgeon whose beloved daughter is kidnapped.’

Yusuke Kato, the director and producer of Kidnap Game, is effusive in his praise for the South Korean superstar. ‘Lee Joon G's acting skills in ‘Flower of Evil’ and ‘Again, My Life’, the action he showed in Hollywood films like ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’, and his fluency in both English and Japanese made him the perfect fit for the role of Han Ki Joo, the doctor in Seoul’.
