LEE JOON
GI’S
CHAMELEON FASHION
IN
GQ KOREA
Lee Joon Gi’s chameleon
identity in movies, dramas and fashion is an index of his power. He does not
cease to amaze with his ability to transform himself in all his works. In the
July 2020 issue of GQ, a magazine for gentlemen, Asia’s most fascinating
heartthrob displays his ‘multiple fashion identities’ or chameleon fashion.
Lee Joon Gi is
very much in his element while posing for the magazine. The natural charm and
sexiness of the amazing ‘Supermodel’ is obvious in the grey tone shot
with him wearing a rolled-up long-sleeved, light grey-pattern shirt and a pair
of grey pinstripe trousers. The mysterious smile, in the picture that hints
of gentle masculinity, can rival that enigmatic smile of Mona Lisa.
Lee Joon Gi,
attired all in black from head to toe, excites the imagination. Lee’s athletic fluidity and his dancer’s grace and flexibility, are perfectly captured in that grey and black shot. He is a powerful
symbol of masculine physicality cum fluidity: lean, agile and graceful. The irresistibly sexy Lee, with his long legs, exudes a seductive aura. What more can a photographer wish for?
In GQ, Lee Joon Gi reveals
facts about his hectic lifestyle which includes the shooting of his exciting
new drama, Flower of Evil. Lee
stars as Baek Hee Sung, a psychopath, who is hunted down by his own
homicide detective wife, played by Moon Chae Won. Lee openly shares about
his undeniable chemistry with Moon Chae Won, his leading lady, in the drama. The
pairing of the two actors, who are exact opposites in personality and temperament,
has been advantageous to him. He discloses that Moon Chae Won’s real
character complements his. She is quiet and serious and that helps him in his personal interpretation of Baek Hee Sung, his strangely reticent
screen character.
Lee Joon Gi’s
life teems with other exciting events. He has been chosen as the Brand
Ambassador of Palace 3D or Gung 3D, a mobile game that has
recently been launched. The world in Palace 3D or Gung 3D is so
fascinating that you want to be part of it. As Emperor Gwangjong, Lee Joon Gi now rules over a universe that is
not just confined to South Korea but stretches far across the world.
Recently, Namoo Actors has been
amusing fans with delightful jokes and quips. Lee’s acting agency must
have been quite impressed with his GQ’s mesmerising visuals. They announced, ‘As soon as actor Joongi’s
photos were out, we got a call from Louvre Museum. They said they’d made room
for the photos next to Mona Lisa.’ Probably, Namoo Actors’
only concern is that Lee’s beautiful smile might outshine the enigmatic smile
of Mona Lisa.
Flower of Evil will premiere at 10:50 p.m. KST on 22 July and will be available on Viki.
