Rumours may be
rumours but fans of Lee Joon Gi are hopeful for news of a new TV series. Lee
has not announced his new project since the filming of The Sword of Aramun
wrapped in 2023 but rumours of Again My Life Season 2 have swirled on
the Internet. So far, there is no official confirmation but anything is
possible. 
If he has already
accepted Season 2 of Again My Life, one is sure that the fans and the audience will
be in for a rollicking fun and wildly exciting time. If the show is to be broadcast or aired in 2026, there would certainly be lots of sparks and fireworks.
 2026 is the Year
of the Fire Horse!
 Season 2 would be
wonderfully more thrilling, exciting, different, addictive and immersive.   Director Han Chul
Soo, when asked in an exclusive interview by a media organization in 2022 about
the possibility of having a sequel, he responded, ‘If 'Again My Life' Season 2 materializes,
a wealthy person should take control of the system, and I think it will be a
story of Kim Hee Woo checking and punishing evil.’
 Season
2 will definitely speak of hydras. Hydras proliferate. Lernean Hydra. Like
evil, if one head is cut off, two more take its place. Nefarious cabals and
syndicates. Venomous individuals, conspirators or perpetrators of evil.   In Season 1, Kim
Hee Woo, the multi-intelligent prosecutor turned to politics to fight Cho Tae
Sub, the evil politician. The newly-minted politician wouldn’t revert to being
a prosecutor at any time soon, would he?  Instead, he would
be a powerful and fiery politician. Intense Energy. He’s a fiery horse with the
speed of light, a symbol of justice. A thrilling piece of fiction? Moreover, Kim Hee
Woo was going to marry Kim Hee Ah in Season 1. If he marries Kim Hee Ah in
Season 2, he would have achieved his dreams of leading the huge Chaebol empire belonging to his wife. He would be 'holding Chunha Conglomerate in the palm of
his hands.' The idea is magical.           But, how would he
be able to balance two jobs? Politician and Chairperson of a
Business Conglomerate.
Director Han further adds, ‘I’m thinking about giving Kim Hee Woo (Lee Joon Gi) another ability, but it's not written in the original novel.’ He added, ‘I think writer Lee Hae Nal will solve it if it materialises.’
 In the fantasy
television series, Kim Hee Woo posseses almost all of the multiple
intelligences except one. Musical Intelligence. If the Director were to allow
Lee Joon Gi to showcase his singing and dancing talents, it would definitely be
earthshaking! It would be clever on the Director’s part. Musical moments can be
clever story-telling moments.
Two Thrones.
Chaebol Chairman. Top Assemblyman.
Imagine Kim Hee
Woo, the flamboyant Chaebol Chairman resplendent in his colourful, gaudy attire,
vigorously shaking his hips and leaping about! Ostentatious. Exuberant. Dramatic.
Theatrical. Dashing. Dazzling. Awesome. Magical. Comical?
Or, imagine
Assemblyman Kim Hee Woo, the sexy, popular politician with an addictive voice, who
speaks like he is singing.   What other
abilities could the director be thinking of? Did he mean a superpower ability beyond
his regression ability that gives Kim Hee Woo the terrifying edge over villians?
He would have to fight bigger villains, including foreign ones, perhaps. He
will have to make choices that will ripple into the future. Did the Director think of making Kim Hee Woo a dazzling polyglot, fluent in many languages? Korean, English, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), Japanese, Thai, Malay etc.

  Will Season 2 be darker and will Kim Hee Woo have morally complex powers? Kim Hee Woo, as a politician, is actually more dangerous, powerful, influential and strategic than being a prosecutor. He, a political warrior, is now seated at the table where power is more concentrated. He no longer interrogates criminals. He exposes corruption and injustice through parliamentary hearings.
Remember the
Grim Reaper’s words?
'You can't catch the
devil unless you become an even worse monster.' That would be terrifying. Kim Hee Woo would have to possess a strong moral compass and build very strong alliances to destroy the corrupt system.
