 It is hard trying to pinpoint the most exciting or high point of Lee Joon Gi’s first Fan Meet-Concert in Kuala Lumpur, the first leg of his 2024 Festival Asia Tour, on 22 September 2024. Everything about the show was so exhilarating and well-organised that all senses came alive. His exceptional show, unlike most South Korean concerts, was complete with a fantastic 4-member live band and a team of well-trained dancers. The music, songs and dance choreography were fantastic. The concert, which opened with an explosion of ear-spliting magical sounds, and dazzling screen colours, designs and patterns, started and ended with military precision. The Asian King of Song and Dance burned with an incandescence that has nothing really to do with his youthful looks, which was gorgeous, of course. Lee's singing, dancing, performance and showmanship were nothing short of spectacular.      Perhaps what was most flattering to Lee’s Malaysian fans was he launched his two new singles in what he calls his Kuala Lumpur Fan-Meet. The two absolutely enthralling and stirring singles, which are perfectly crafted gems by Lim Hyun Jun, his musical director and concert producer with the collaboration of other musicians, have been long-awaited. Lee’s Dancing In The Moonlight is catchy, upbeat, deep in joyful feeling and is universally accessible. It has the inherent power to galvanise everyone to dance.  https://www.facebook.com/reel/755376046717345 The superstar roused the audience to a frenzy with his exquisite rendition of his own sougs, such as Thank You, Now and Can’t Be Slow as well as OSTs from his movies and television series. His performance of the Chosen One from The Sword of Aramun, Fate from The King and The Clown, For You from Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and In My Heart from Flower of Evil was unforgettable. His powerful dancing and footwork, especially to the beat of his own version of Standing Next To You, was incredibly energetic, zesty and sexy. The 42-year-old Lee Joon Gi's energy, passion and stamina are unparalleled and put younger artistes to shame.
 Lee Joon Gi's exceptionally engaging performance is world-class; his performance is more exciting than some other Asian singers of middling merit, who have held concerts in Asia or world tours. The smooth delivery of his songs still has the power to unleash a veritable fan frenzy in his concerts and fan-meets.
  The charming and charismatic Lee Joon Gi, the epitome of the K-Showbusiness Leading Man, is a ‘beautiful Song’, his personality is a ‘catchy Melody’. He has many attractive qualities that draw people to him. You have to study his art and listen his music to know him better. Lee, a pivotal figure in Asian showbusiness, is reputed for his enormous energy, fierce passion, supreme verve, remarkable tenacity and great love for his fans. The superstar, who is said to possess magnetic eye energy, has not only maintained a strong foothold in the Asian music scene but has also built a formidable presence in the global film and television industry.  The Goodbye Session at the end of the concert seems like something new in his concerts. The excited fans were separated from him by a steel barricade. Perhaps, the organisers played favourites. While in his 2024 Festival Asia Tour on 28 September 2024 in Taipei, his Taiwanese fans had the opportunity to high-five with him, his Malaysian fans could not even go near him nor touch him. Instead, they had to quickly file past him and he waved and made K-love gestures behind the barricade.  The Malaysian fans bore the brunt of the overly strict and protective bouncers and guards who did not allow the excited fans to even hand him their gifts. It must have been punishing for Lee to do a three-hour show and then, face thousands of his fans and bid them farewell.
There were two places for photography with Lee Joon Gi’s images at Entrance A Megastar Arena. The flower stands were located at Entrance B.
The multihyphenate was treated like Asian Royalty. He was housed in the prestigious and luxurious Imperial Lexis. Many gifts were sent to his room.
 Megastar Arena was a melting pot of global fans who came from China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Israel, Russia and USA to support him. The Japanese and local fans were especially thoughtful for bringing souvenirs of Lee Joon Gi to share with the audience in the Kuala Lumpur concert.
