Lee Joon Gi recently awakened Asia to Longchamp’s latest collection at their launch party at Taipei 101. The evening of 15 May 2019 marked the introduction of Longchamp’s dynamic interlocking nine-letter LGP monogram which is a distinctive new feature of the French brand’s products. The monogram was plastered all over the Longchamp flagship store in Taipei 101. An estimated 500 over spectators, men and women, mostly comprising passionate fans and the Asian media, were on hand to witness the grand occasion.

The Asian superstar with a huge legion of loyal fans which spans the world, particularly Asia, was the biggest draw of the event. The launch party, no doubt a huge success, resembled a movie or drama awards show with the strong presence of the cheering crowds.

Earlier in the afternoon, hundreds of Lee’s enthusiastic and passionate Taiwanese fans had come out in full force to welcome him at the Taoyuan International Airport. Despite a two-hour flight delay, there was a rising crescendo of screams upon his appearance.

He deserves applause for being insanely funny. On the white T-shirt that he wore was emblazoned with the word ‘Provoke’. He has made a provocative statement: an amazing contrast between his high fashion backpack and his street wear.
