LEE JOON GI AND SEO YEA JI
EXPLOSIVE
CHEMISTRY
EXPECTED
If you have been
fantasizing Bong Sang Pil falling in love with Ha Jae Yi, lawyer-turned-paralegal, you might be one happy puppy.
Lee Joon Gi and Seo Yea Ji. The chemistry of the romantic leads would be explosive on the screen. Bong Sang Pil and Ha Yae Yi. Two
volatile personalities. Fiery and Stormy. And also, the pairing brings an
explosive upsurge in adrenaline. Romantic sparks. Passionate and intense. Palpable
chemistry. The raw chemistry of romantic lovers in the tense legal world.
Lee Joon Gi and Seo Yea Ji.
Lee and Seo are charming, hilariously funny and naturally happy persons.
There is nothing like the two actors to thrill the audience. Funny.
Irresistible. Full of surprises. As actors, Lee Joon Gi, the amazing actor
with a thousand faces, and Seo Yea Ji, an actress of substance, should be
able to portray the quarrelsome and combatant lawyers in love. Expectations
are high for a happy ending.

BONG SANG PIL
TRANSFORMATION
FROM
GANGSTER TO PERFECT LAWYER
Tattoos on
his fingers
Before Bong Sang Pil became
a lawyer, he had no proper job; he was a gangster, a member of a street gang.
‘Gangster’, by the way, is not an occupation.
Was Bong Sang Pil just an
ordinary thug or a teenage godfather who subjected ordinary folks to
intimidation? Imagine the profanities, curses, verbal threats that had spilled out
from his mouth. Assaults. At which point did Bong Sang Pil turn over a new
leaf?
Did becoming a member of
the legal fraternity change the emotionally volatile thug-turned-lawyer?
Probably, no - in the early days. Pent-up violence. Aggression. Would he bring
his gutter habits with him to the legal world? Do clothes make the man? Do
suits make the lawyer? A Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
Bong Sang Pil is no
cookie-cutter lawyer. Probably, due to his background and the tattoos on his fingers (and elsewhere?), Bong Sang Pil, a trial lawyer, is probably held in disrepute. What’s
his lawyering like? Bong is well-versed and grounded in every aspect of the
law since he has been on both sides of the law; he is an experienced lawyer
and also a skillful fighter. Brains and brawn. He should be able to adroitly navigate
the court process legally or illegally.
A corrupt and incompetent
court. The intelligent and sharp-minded Bong probably ratchets up his
criticisms of the court and the judges but to no avail. It is possible too that he fights
against a big chaebol or business corporation headed by gangster boss-turned
chaebol chairman, Ahn Oh Joo, played by Choi Min Soo, who has the backing of
the corrupt female judge, Cha Moon Sook, played by Lee Hye Young. Perhaps, the
biased judge hands out lenient penalties to the scoundrel or worse, lets him
get off scot-free for his offences. Definitely, a David versus Goliath scenario.
You will not see any dandy
lawyer in distress. Bong Sang Pil would surely ruffle many feathers when he
fights injustice and organised crime. How to thwart injustice? Bong would
find the loopholes to flawlessly manipulate and manoeuvre his way to justice.
Slowly, Bong Sang Pil
transforms. He becomes the perfect lawyer. A dashing one at that. With
charismatic Lee Joon Gi, the action superstar as the lead, the drama will be
hyper-packed with energy and spectacular nail-biting stunts.
A lawyer with brains and brawn.
An athletic and sexy hunk. Let Bong Sang Pil strut and swagger into your
heart!

HA YAE JI
TRANSFORMATION
FROM
LAWYER TO PARALEGAL
Ha Yae Ji, like Bong Sang Pil, is from the lower class. Her
father is a small photo shop owner.
Ha Yae Ji is an aggressive lawyer. One day, things spiralled
out of control. Perhaps, she did not like the ruling meted out by a judge so,
she walloped him - socked it to him. Wham! She could pack a punch! During the
altercation, she toppled the judge. A jarring sight. Was he hospitalised? It
was a wrong move. Contempt of court. Was she hit with a misdemeanour or
assault charge, or did she receive a suspension from law practice? The case must have been
quite serious.
Agitated, Ha Jae Yi takes a swing at the judge, toppling him.
What was the price paid for walloping the judge? Humiliation. Ha Jae Yi was reduced to being a paralegal in Bong Sang Pil’s office. Probably, she
was retained as a legal assistant in clerical or administrative work,
assuming some of Bong’s work load. Beggars cannot be choosers. From lawyer to
paralegal. A step backwards. A setback.

LAWLESS LAWYER
AN
INTERESTING SUGGESTION
The lists of suggestions on the Internet from Lawless Lawyer
fans keep getting longer and longer. One list suggests a motorcycle chase
scene. It will certainly be exhilarating to watch.
One can almost feel the fans breathing heavily down the necks
of the director and the script writer.
The fans may not spell out their suggestions clearly but it is
probably this: Get paralegal Ha Jae Yi to straddle the lap of lawyer Bong
Sang Pil on his motorbike while they are being pursued by gangsters. Handcuffed
together? No, shackled together in some way. An intense, romantic scene. Excitement. Tension.
Romance. It will be one heck of a ride!
Pillion rider? Why not seat Ha Jae Yi at the back of Bong Sang
Pil, with hands grabbing dangerously around Bong’s waist, you ask. What kind
of question is that? Do you not know what an action stunt is? Lawless Lawyer
is not just a legal thriller but also an action drama. Hold your breath! Hold
your breath!
Fans just can’t wait for Bong Sang Pil to THRILL them and also
KILL them with his sexiness (and intelligence)!
