He is on a quest to connect with his fans and therefore, has dedicated it to all his Korean as well as global fans. Lee has not released an album for some time. The new single album "Thank You" contains 3 songs ‘Thank You’, ‘Now’ and ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’. Lee’s powerful album inspires more love as the album embodies his gratitude for his fans’ loving devotion and unwavering support for him throughout his career since 2001. Therefore, the album is appropriately entitled ‘Thank You’ and he even sings his ‘Thank You’ to them in his own special way.  The songs certainly tug at their heartstrings. Many of his fans, who have been with him through thick and thin, may have grown up but they still stay loyal by his side.

The tour feels like a celebration of his 15 years in the industry, which started with a modelling job in 2001. He started his tour with Seoul as his first stop on 03.12.16. Originally, he was to hold one fan meet but the 1,400 tickets sold off in less than a minute when they were put on sale on the Internet. So, a fan-meet on 04.12.16 was quickly organised to appease and meet the demands of his frustrated fans. Lee Joon Gi is now on tour in Japan. He was in Nagoya on 21.12.16, and Osaka on 22.12.16. He would hold his Yokohama fan meet on 24.12.16. Lee would only return to Korea on Christmas Day. In January, he would be in Taiwan and Hong Kong. His fans elsewhere have petitioned for him to visit their countries. From the overwhelming response of his fans, it seems that he is more popular than ever. He has put more thought into his Asia Tour and has added in more interesting and lively dances and songs. His fans might have left his fan meets intoxicated. The feelings may last for days and they have to wait for their inebriate feelings to wear off. And now, we know why the tickets to his fan meets sell out so fast. Lee's Singaporean and Malaysian fans who have not been able to watch him live in his fan meets can now indulge in watching him on television this Christmas season.  They could binge-watch the 20 episodes of Scarlet Heart starting at 12.45 pm on Christmas Eve. The tenth (10) episode would end around midnight. On Christmas Day, the eleventh (11) episode would also begin at 12.45 pm and the series would end around midnight. What about his other fans? They are probably still salivating.
